Odisea guarantees a well-coordinated service for renting; including the preparation phase when we will work together to assure that all your needs will be met while you are with us. We will ask for your suggestions and preferences and plan accordingly. We will rely on your requests for the type of food to be brought on board, snacks, itineraries and activities so that your stay on board will match your personal tastes. Your well-being and security are our fundamental goals.

Even before your arrival at the port of departure we will be available to facilitate your arrival. We will pick you up at the airport or arrange your transfer to the boat.

In order to make your stay more pleasant
We advise to wear soft sole footwear, hat, protective creams for hydration and sunscreen. Please do not bring rigid suitcases. And, you can bring your own wines and champagne, CD's of your favourite music or a documentary or film (DVD or Video) that you want to see.

Special considerations
Passports: The need for a passport depends on several factors including the country(s) visited and the nationality of the visitors. We advise to have an up-to-date passport with you on the voyage. It is Odisea's responsibility to obtain corresponding visas, when necessary.

Insurances of accidents: The boat has its own insurance as well as obligatory insurance for occupants. Still, we recommend that you purchase additional trip insurance that covers any unfortunate incident that may occur.

Animals: It is not possible to bring pets on board. The reasons to prohibit pets include our need to maintain the boat in optimal conditions of hygiene, and also because the confinement of a boat will not be comfortable for guests or for the animal.

Smoking on board: In order to avoid damage and lingering smoke odors, smoking is only allowed on deck.

Contract of Charter and the Conditions of Payment
Contract between you and Odisea

The "Odissea de l’Empordà" is rented under the conditions established by MYBA (Mediterranean Yacht Broker Association), which means that the tariff includes the rent of the boat and the cost of the crew and insurance for sailing risks. The other expenses of fuel, mooring fees, food and communications offered by the boat (mail, Fax, Internet) are the responsibility of the client. IVA is not included.

Once we agree on the exact period of the rent as well as the approximate route that you wish travel a deposit of 50% will secure the reservation. The remaining balance of 50% will be paid one week prior to boarding. Also, at the time of the second payment an estimate of fuel, moorings and provisions will be paid. The amount varies according to the voyage details. At the end of the voyage the captain will present a statement of account with a refund or a need to pay the final balance.
The starting and destination ports can be different, and depending on the itinerary the extra costs will be charged to the customer.
